Serves 4

4 sachets of Chamomile tea
4 inches fresh ginger, peeled and roughly chopped
3 tablespoons honey
3 tangerines, each sliced in half
4 shots Kentucky bourbon, such as Maker’s Mark

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. While the water is heating up, with a mortar and pestle, muddle ginger with juice of one of the tangerine halves.

When the water is boiling, throw in the tea bags and remove from heat. Add in the ginger and honey. Let step 3-4 minutes. Using a strainer, pour tea evenly into four cups. Juice a tangerine half into each cup. Add a shot of bourbon to each cup and stir. Garnish each cup with a tangerine slice and serve.
